Mugwort – Artemisia vulgaris

In ancient anglo-saxon texts, mugwort is listed as the oldest of plants. Named for Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and of childbirth, mugwort is the herb of midwives. A great aid in labour and soothing to women during menstruation. She is our native smoking herb. Burn the dried herb to cleanse the air with smoke. Mugwort connects us to our dreams. Thought to work with the pineal gland, this herb can bring you vivid memorable dreams. Her silvery flowers and leaves reflect her affinity with the moon. She’s a real herb of the soul, supporting you to dream big and birth those dreams into reality.
