Sensory Herbal Handbook Book Launch Bristol
Many of the plants growing abundantly in the city as ‘weeds’ are an amazing source of medicine that can support us in building resilient good health.
Celebrating the launch of the Seed SistAs’ Sensory Herb Handbook, the Cube is collaborating with artist Belle Benfield to bring you an evening of herbal delights.
The film Juliette of the Herbs follows Juliette de Bairacli Levy: herbalist, author, breeder of Afghan hounds, friend of the Gypsies. She dedicated her life, travelling in search of herbal wisdom, and is the pioneer of holistic veterinary medicine. The screening will be followed by a live Q & A and book signing with Belle discussing the Herbal Handbook and the importance of knowing and planting medicinal plants in our communities. Herbal cocktails will be available from the apothecary bar where you can sample a special herbal edition of Cube-Cola and check out Belle’s artistic collaboration with the Seed SistAs.
